Mission Statement
The mission of Friends is to assist Parks
staff in the management and conservation of the natural and cultural resources of the Parks for the use and enjoyment of present
and future generations. The mission of Friends is to be accomplished by enlisting and coordinating the involvement of citizens
and organizations (Volunteers) wishing to assist the Parks. Friends' support may include providing information about the
Parks and their resources to the public, assisting and educating visitors to the Parks, fund-raising to support special projects
or general operations for the Parks, and, other activities which contribute to the care and conservation of the Parks.

We need help cleaning our Kayaks and Canoes this coming
Sunday afternoon, July 25th at 1:00 PM...We will meet at the Boat Barn and transport the boats to an area where we can use
our pressure washer and make them presentable. These boats are our year around income for the Friends of the Lost Pines and
we need to keep clean and ready to rent. If you can help, come out and give us a hand. We will have water and snacks available.
Wear light weight clothing you don't mind getting wet and headgear (cap or hat).
