There will be no Friends of the Lost Pines Meeting in September because we will be volunteering
for the Burning Pines Run at the Park on September 6th...Make sure you come out and support this run. This is a major fund
raiser for the Friends and our Park.

The mission of Friends is to assist Parks
staff in the management and conservation of the natural and cultural resources of the Parks for the use and enjoyment of present
and future generations. The mission of Friends is to be accomplished by enlisting and coordinating the involvement of citizens
and organizations (Volunteers) wishing to assist the Parks. Friends' support may include providing information about the
Parks and their resources to the public, assisting and educating visitors to the Parks, fund-raising to support special projects
or general operations for the Parks, and, other activities which contribute to the care and conservation of the Parks.
